About Us:

Position Overview:

The Nonprofit Development Manager is responsible for securing funding to support Foundation for CHOICE’s initiatives. This role involves fundraising, event planning, donor relations, and meeting financial benchmarks to ensure the sustainability of our programs. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for nonprofit development, strong networking skills, and a proven track record in fundraising.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fundraising & Donor Relations:
  • Develop and execute fundraising strategies to support Foundation for CHOICE’s mission.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, foundations, and grant funders.
  • Research and write grant proposals, ensuring compliance with funding requirements.
  • Implement donor recognition and stewardship initiatives.
  • Event Planning & Management:
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising events, ensuring they align with organizational goals and maximize revenue.
  • Secure sponsorships, in-kind donations, and partnerships to enhance event success.
  • Oversee event logistics, including budgeting, vendor relations, and marketing.
  • Benchmark & Goal Achievement:
  • Set and achieve fundraising benchmarks to ensure programs are fully funded.
  • Track and report on fundraising progress, donor engagement, and event outcomes.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop long-term sustainability strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business, communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated success in donor cultivation, grant writing, and event planning.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for education and the mission of Foundation for CHOICE.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
